Levi in Italy, Day 2,3,4

June 9, 2006-

I didn't sleep great, but it wasn't bad either. We ate breakfast at a restaurant not too far away. It tasted good... It was cheese omellete and some bread. We decided to explore the rest of the city alleys today because we couldn't do that yesterday. It was very cool. We also found another church that was bigger than the one from yesterday. We ate some pizza and pasta for lunch. They weren't half bad. The pizzas are thin and tasty around here. We wandered home and I played on the internet for an hour. I came back and just fell asleep all of a sudden. I woke up after a 30 min. nap and refused to wake up. But my dad forced me up. We took another exploration trip up a mountainous hill that used to be a fort back in the day. No, not the 80's, waaay before that. We wandered around some port and wandered back to some restaurant near our apartment. I ate some fettucini alfredo (oef four cheese pasta) and my dad had some boring spaghetti with red sauce. Mine was way better. He even started stealing mine. Soon after coming back home, I went to the internet cafe and played for another hour. I had 20 sec. left on the computer before I had to pay extra, so I ran to the cashier guy and payed. I was chatting with my friends and, poof, I was gone. I came back to the apartment and my dad sent out to dance. I listened to music for two hours then decided to do something, a.k.a, write in this journal.

June 10, 2006-

We just sat around today at the beach (lots of boobies).

June 11, 2006-

We got ready to leave France today. I did not sleep well last night. Was awake for about 4 hrs. With a blink it was morning! We ate at the same place as we did on the first day. It was mediocre. We went to get our train to Italy soon after that, and had a long, boring 30 min. ride to Ventimiglia. That wasn't the boring part though. After that, we had a three hour train ride to Genova. THEN we had another 30 min. ride to Monterosso. The train was packed on the last ride, and was really smelly. Right after we got off, we went to our little village hotel (village=Riomaggiore) to get our rooms. The city is tiny, but that's if you look at it from above. Everything else is apartments and staircases. Looks really cool, though, because the old stone steps look really nice. After resting a bit, we went out to eat in this maze-like city. We found ONE restaurant and tried eating there and it tasted horrid! Soon after puking, we went to a nicer looking restaurant and ate there. I got some shrimp pasta, which had shrimps that hadn't been de-shelled yet. It was ok, but I would have preferred something else. We went back to our apartment, disappointed with the day. So far, I believe that France looks a lot nicer. We've only been here for one day, though, so we shall see.
