June 12, 2006-
Well, today was probably the strangest of the lot. We'll start out with when I woke up, because that's how journal's work. Not right to start in my pants. That's how autobiographies start. Anyway, we had breakfast at a little store not so far away. We both had omelletts (spelling is for nerds) and while my dad enjoyed a coffee, I "enjoyed" a so-called hot chocolate. Not exactly a liquid, I would say. THIS thing was not a liquid. It was literally HOT chocolate. This thing was like sludge! It tasted like ordinary Hershey's chocolate that was melted in someone's pocket, then put into a cup. Adding water to it made it bubble, and made it taste like eating melted Hershey's chocolate with melting ice. There sure are a lot of melting stuff, huh?
Well, after this "interesting" breakfast, we headed to the laundry store where we, well, did our laundry. It "only" took us one and a half hrs. though. We chatted with a few other people though. They were also U.S.inians, my name for Americans. Aren't I so funny? Upon doing this, we hung our clothes to dry, and I found out that I had just lost some underwear. Upon hearing this, my dad kept saying, "Levi lost his pants in France." I swear, I will kill him someday. We decided to go to this "little" hike up this hill mountain thing next to the village. It was where the farmers grew their grapes.
It was really steep, and took us about 30 min. to get to the top. We found this weird cave thingy that was dark. It was pointless. Life is too. We found a road (for cars) that led back down to town. My dad wouldn't quit saying to stay to the side so as to not get hit. Like I didn't know that! We got back and swam at the beach a bit. It...was...COLD!!! God, it was freezing! I sat in the sun for a half hour and not a good tan. We went back to the hotel and watched the World Cup on our all too sexy mini T.V.
Soccer, I believe, is not the most interesting sport. We ate dinner at a restaurant and then looked at some little castle. We went back to the apartment and my dad watched the football (soccer) game in a bar. I watched it at home. So here we are.
