'Tis the Season to be Jolly

Shino: I get all my manga from my grandma in Japan, but I forgot to fax her my little "manga wish list" until today! :( So now I won't get new manga for a few weeks. The last time she sent me manga was...sometime during summer? I dunno, it was so long ago. XP

THIS is a picture of what I have now dubbed, "The House of 1337 (LEET)." It's a house that's right next to one of my Trax stops, so I just HAD to take a picture of it! That's a freakin' awesome address. I WANT IT!!! The license plates in Utah have 3 #'s then 3 letters, and I think it'd be really cool if I saw one with DDR for the 3 letters. I mean I've seen random ones that say like NUN, or MEW.

Speakin of license plates, my dad's gonna try and get a custom one. He's thinkin' of doin' somethin' like CHILL, or BOOM or something cool like that.

WE GOT A NEW COMPUTER!!! Our old one just kinda died on us, so instead of fixing it, we just got a whole new one, an iMac I think their called? Don't know exactly what size, but it's still pretty freakin' huge. Have you seen those GIANT ones that are as big as like TV's!!? So now we have TWWWOOOO computers! (plus the laptop) No more getting kicked off or vise versa! HOORAY!!! And Tomorrow's Christmas and I have to work from noon to like 4 pm. Boo!!!

The Finals are coming! The Finals are coming!

Shino: Woo! More sketches! Well, Finals week is here. Thus explaining why there's an explosion in my math notes as seen to the left of here. Actually this is a really old sketch but it's so freakin' funny and how I feel like right now. I "bombed" my Math test. Get it!? I'm such a freaking idiot. (-o-;) I just had to say that, sorry. Untill 9th grade I thought bombing a test meant you did really good on it. Why? Cuz people would laugh while saying it, I've only heard like 3 people say it in my life until then, and when you say something's "the bomb" it's usually a good thing.

Oh, another picture that proves I'm a nerd. In my Chem Lab there's hoods where you should do anything with chemical mixing (psh, like anyone does!) under it. The original paper said "Please keep all reagants in the hood! Thank you" but I kept that first and last bit off the pic. My dad thought it was reagants as in the guards, but no, it's the chemical reagants. I didn't even KNOW there was any other kind of reagants.

Well, since we're on the topic of Chemistry, here's a denden mushi from One Piece in my Chem notes. I have the Chem final tomorrow then the History one on Friday so I'm looking over my notes again. Today is unofficial Study Day. *sigh* I still have to go buy X-mas presents too. Luffy's saying "Gear 2nd" BTW. Very cool pose. Makes me wish I could beat homework's ass like Luffy does to bad guys. XD

I've been getting into Naruto a LOT lately. (hee hee! Narutard!) Maybe cuz I haven't seen or read One Piece in months and Naruto's the only good anime on right now. And Bleach. And Inuyasha but it's re-runs lately. Which would probably explain why I have so many Naruto doodles in my notes lately. I freakin' love Gaara. And I'm so proud of myself for finally memorizing how to write the "love" kanji (愛). I'm such a disgrace to Japan. I hardly know how to read or write any kanji! Well, I guess it's better than knowing NOTHING, right? Right!?? Well, better go back to studying Chemistry...

F.I.N.A.L.S.

Shino: Fweeeeeeh! (TT_TT) Finals are coming up! I've gotta type a 5 page essay for History on why America likes to stay out of other countries' business by this Friday. I'm gonna try to do a page a day, but I only did the first paragraph yesterday. I'm gonna have to start making these paragraphs longer... (>.>) I know! I'll just quote a lot of stuff! (^_^;)

I also just wrote another essay for my English class (last day today!) and took a midterm (WTF!?) for Calculus II. I think I'm gonna fail that class... I kinda hope so too so I can take the easier version of that class next semester. Stupid waste of money! (>_<) And I'm gonna have a Chem Lab final tomorrow, and 3 of them next week.

A little funny thing from e1n's blog: F.I.N.A.L.S. is the accronym for Fuck I Never Actually Learned Shit. (~_~;) So true, it's sad. Well, guess I should start studying then... Boohoohoo! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!!! (>O<)

Nerdiness At Its Max

Levi: Well, I have almost no purpose for typing about this, but what the heck. I guess I should just talk about my weekend, and maybe about my grades.

Last weekend I had a game of D&D (it's been a while since the last one) and it went pretty bad. Its just so hard just to figure out what the players want... Ah well. I think I have it now at least. These are what I think are the best:
• Short and to the point; if it stretches out too long it gets boring.
• Perhaps more interactive. Talk like the person is real, explain the scenario better.
• Strong bosses. The players are a lot tougher than I think.

Well, that's that part, but the next part is about my grades. Now, you must be thinking, "Uh oh, he got bad grades huh?" or "Yes! He did horrible!" Sorry to ruin your fun, but I got my first straight A's! This one is special because its really the first one since I got into middle school. Mind you, i'm in 9th grade, even though i'm in middle school, making this one really important. Feh, I think i'm done for now.

Shino: Wow. S'been a while, eh? I've had 3 midterms in the last 2 weeks so I've been busy studying for that. I've also got a 7 page essay due tomorrow and I need to type 3 more pages.

Back to the subject of the title. I LOST MY CHAPSTICK!!! I'm so freakin' sad! It was this Skittles flavored one and it smelled/tasted so good! I think I might of lost it at school on Friday morning sometime...or at home before that cuz I KNOW I had it on Thursday... *sniff* Now all I have is this disgusting cherry and blue berry flavored ones. I also have one of those roll on lip gloss thingies that tastes like mango. Now, I don't go around eating my chapstick. It's on your lips for hours, you're gonna taste something.

.hack//Roots was on yesterday morning on Cartoon Network. Yay! I haven't seen it in Japanese yet on YouTube, but I guess I'll do it after the English version is over. Roots is the anime version of the new .hack game that's gonna come out called .hack//G.U. It looks waaaaay more serious than the first 4 .hacks. Which reminds me, I still need to go buy the 4th one. How does it end!!? Maybe I'll ask for it for X-mas...

Shino: Yeah, I feel like the title. Just, "bleah." I have SOME homework, but I haven't done any this whole weekend. Go me!

I've been getting into fanfiction.net again so I spend a few hours a day just reading. Yeah, call me nerdy, but I'm bored. I'm thinking of reading "Eragon" soon though cuz Levi keeps telling me it's good, and I'd like to read it before the movie comes out. I SHOULD also read "The da Vinci Code," but again, I'm too lazy. I really should maybe work on some art for deviantART too... (-.-)zzZZ

I still haven't finished Kingdom Hearts even though I pretty much know what's gonna happen. I'm a disgrace to all KH fans! So I tried playing it after like...almost 2 years, and I think I remember the controls now. Speaking of games, Guitar Hero II's coming out! w00t! Levi loves the game, so we'll probably buy it eventually. I should play DDR too...

Shino: Was lookin' through some old pictures in my digital camera and found THIS!!! It's my Halloween costume from last year, a gangsta! I look pretty awesome, huh? But now I don't know what to do for THIS year. Maybe I'll just dress up as a Japanese school girl... My mom did that last year. Levi's thinking of being Pantsman from VG Cats. Get it!? Levi jeans? Now how can I NOT put up this Luffy sticker pic!? Yup, he's on my car! A few of the little bits might of fallen off now, but he's still awesome! I'm kinda embarassed by it, but not really cuz I love One Piece so much. \(^0^)/ It makes me so happy everytime I look in my rear view mirror. Oh yeah, BTW, this picture of Luffy is from book #24. Wow...to think One Piece has reacher over 40 books now. I'm so proud to be a fan! Too bad the American 4Kids dub is so horrible... *sniff* The last pic is of last night's moon. Shino: Thought I'd just do a quick explanation of our links to the right. "Shino's deviantART" is my deviantART page. Levi'll probably put some of his comics too though, but it's technically mine. My name's "melondream". I always use that name whenever I join something. :P

"Courtland's deviantART" is my friend Courtland's page. Remember Courtland in the last post? He did the Chalk the Walk with me. He's also my DDR/game buddy. His stuff is so cute and good! I hate him! Hahahahahaha!!

"e1n's blogspot"......(>.>) (<.<) ......Uuuh...Look at the title. I've been reading his blog every now and then for like the last year. He calls his blogspot "Confessions of a One Piece Addict." XD Gotta love it! He's really good at drawing Oda's style too. He has his own website with little comics and a deviantART too! I finally decided to start this blog from him too BTW.

"VG Cats" is a webcomic with these 2 cat characters (most of the time). It talks about games mostly, and it's really funny.

"Snafu" has a bunch of webcomics on it actually. I REALLY like the Grim Tales, PowerPuff Girls, and Invader Zim ones. DAMMIT!!! Why are all these people such good artists!!? I hate/love them so much!!!

"Weebl's stuff" is a bunch of flash animation episodes of Weebl and sometimes his friend Bob. Hilarious like crap man! Rated M for Mature (so is VG Cats I guess now that I think about it).

"Ask A Ninja" is like Strong Bad answering e-mails. He kinda sounds like him too! It's a ninja who answers questions in a ninja manner. Awww man, cracks me up!

Procrastinating Again

Shino: I helped start the Art Club at my High School last year and I was the official art club Ninja-Pirate. So I tried dressing up as one! XD The background is a mural our club was painting, but we're still not done after a whole year!!! I get this Thursday and Friday off so maybe we'll do it then. This is just me now dressing up for fun. I'm an Army Ninja, or a Ninjarmy I like to call it. Levi thought I should be a Ninj I Joe (G I Joe). The last pic is a chalk drawing of Cardcaptor Sakura. Our club held a Chalk the Walk where students could draw chalk art all day for $5. I did it with my friend Courtland and a (then) Junior girl Krystal who was in my Anime Club (but I think we renamed it to the Japanese Culture Club). I tought a little bit of Japanese in that club. Too bad the stupid school's shadow is covering up some of the chalk drawing.

School Sucks (what's new?)

Shino: Thought I'd put up some doodles in my notes from classes. Except this one. I had a test in Chemistry but I finished in like 20 minutes, so I could of left early or do something for 30 more minutes. I chose the later and doodled this on the back of the extra paper we were given for the midterm. It's Robin and Chopper from the Davy Back Fight. Something's wrong w/ Chopper and Robin's face, left hand, and feet. BTW, I can complain about anything (mostly mine or others' art). Oh look! Another Robin, but while she was Miss All Sunday. Her head's a little big compared to her body. I tend to start drawing big, then smaller so things get unproportional. (^_^;) I actually just felt like drawing crossed legs, then I remembered Robin sitting like that, so I drew her. The Miss All Sunday drawing and the 2 Luffy pics are from my History notes. I always end up writing like just a few lines on the next page, so there's over half a page of blank space left. I also really like that mad Luffy face in the corner. I tried drawing the rest of the face but it just made it worse. I have more doodles, mostly in the Math notes, but they're just not that good, so these are just my best. Hey, I'm pretty bad at feet, huh? Wonder why... I should practice more. I should draw more in general. (-o-;) I'm thinking of putting up some drawings at deviantart...someday. I called this post's title "School Sucks" because I have 2 more midterms this week and I don't think I'll do that good. I also have to write an essay that's due next week but I haven't even started on it yet. Too busy studying for those midterms...not really, but it's a good excuse. The last 2 drawings are from my Chemistry homework. I think I did pretty good on my Chemisty midterm. I think I'll get somewhere in the B's. Atleast I hope so. Sanji's from Water 7 BTW. I think he looks classier w/ the vest and orange shirt than his other clothes. Too bad his legs are too short. I love drawing the Davy Back Fight announcer guy! His face is so funny! I dunno if I drew his clothes right, but oh well. The voice actor for him is also the announcer in "Ito-ke no Ura Waza." His voice is so cool too! I also like to draw the Denden Mushi's cuz they look funny too. As e1n says, "Oda is God!" He's so freakin' good! WHY!? Well, gotta go eat spaghetti. Mmm...spaghetti... :P

D&D is Phun

Levi: Okay, I know what you're thinking, "Levi plays dungeons and dragons!? WTF's up with thatzxorz!?!!?!?!?!?!?! lOLolOLOLOROFlsrolfllollmaolmaaoLolLlolOLlOoLlLooLLLolLol¡¡¡¡¡¡!!!!" Well you can keep on going with that. For those who do like the game, then yay you. Shino doesn't play at all, so I feel all alone. However my dad plays though, which is pretty cool. I just had a game yesterday, with me as the dungeon master (which I do all the time anyway). But this game was different. It just had a certain feel to it that made it, well, fun. I'm planning to make another sometime by tomorrow (I have SO much free time) and I'm gonna fool the players into thinking they got some nice in-game friends/girlfriends to hang out with, then BAM!!! I'm gonna have their "friends" actually be thieves and they lose all of their stuff. Of course, I'll let them go on a strange mis-adventurous quest to get their stuff back. Thieves are a plot device!!!

Well, other than that, I just read Filler Bunny: I filled up 15 pages! or something like that. It is just a wonderful piece of ART!!! It's hilarious. Quote, "Do you like corn? I give you corn. So much corn I give you." I love that quote. Beautiful. Anyway, I'll be getting on with my nerding around. So fun it is. You like fun? I give you fun. So much fun I give you.

Levi in Italy, Day 18

June 25, 2006-

One more day to go young man...or woman. Homan? Super extreme Matrix slo-mo sexiness! Noo. Aaanyways, after waking up, my dad and I went out to look for breakfast. Since it was a Sunday, nothing was open. We came back home just in time to see Marco and his girlfriend coming up. They took us to a kebab shop. We waited for about a half hour to get out kebob but it was well worth it. It was kinda like a meat sandwhich but it was supposed to be more like a taco. Either way, it was still good. We went to go buy some chocolate after that. It is some knee-slapping good chocolate! We are going to give it to my mom. It has a tint of peanut butter to it's flavor. We drove to the train station to see and get out ticket to Nice (the France city at the beginning). While Papa and friends did that, I played on the computer there. The joy. We went our to a restaurant Marco wanted to go to (because it was our last day). We went to this little restaurant somewhere down town. My food tasted fine, but Papa got this mustard wasssabi steak! And he said he liked it! I got a delicious desert that was like a choco taco with cheese in the center. Magnifico! We went home and packed our stuff. WOOHOOOOO!!!

Levi in Italy, Day 17

Shino: So I started typing this on like Tuesday, but the internet kept quitting on me whenever I tried to upload a picture. Weird, huh?

I started college on Wednesday. It sucked cuz I have all my classes on Wednesdays. Except I didn't have to go to my last class, which was a 3 hr. long lab. Then on Thursday, I only had one class, so I spent an hour going up there AND an hour coming back, and I didn't have the class that day too! RAAAAAUUURGH!!! I wasted almost 3 hours!!! Oh yeah, BTW, I go to the University of Utah and take the trax up cuz it's free for students. Find me if you can! Then yesterday (Friday) I had an hour till my next class but I ended up helping this old lady who was a Spanish tutor. I helped her w/ some English grammar stuff and showed her on a map where she had to go. I think she thought that I was Spanish or somethin' cuz I have dark hair. Anyways, only 2 more journal entries left!

June 24, 2006-

Today Marco and Fratica (yaay) came and took us up to the mountains. It was really misty and green up there. We were (are) going to go see an old castley-fort up there. There was a loud barking dog up there (who was quite nice actually). We got out tickets and got a tour of the castle. I found out that it was used for many battles. The French built it first, but then after lots of battles the Italians got it. It was in an extremely strategic spot so it was used in too many battles. It was also used as a prison and army camp in World War I and II. The castle was on a really steep mountain so you couldn't just climb up it if you were invading. It had many cannons aligned around it too. After about 2 hours of that, we grabbed some hams and cheeses and bread and went over to Marco's "other" home. It was really close to the castle. It was a beautiful spot with a nice little garden (which Italians do not have!). We sat down and ate an extremely DELICIOUS meal. It was superb! It was ham stuff with bread sticks with a bit of cheese (you made it yourself). Please excuse my handwriting because I am again writing on a cat. After eating, we took a nap (duration is unknown) and then went back to the city. We waited for stuff for a few hours, and I checked my grades on the computer. I have straight A's! (With a few B's; 3.) After that we went out to do...stuff. I got really bored and depressed (for some reason) so my dad (plus Marco and Fratica) took me home on a taxi. While going I listened to some cool tunes. What kinda sucked though was that we got in a wreck. Some car was pulling a U-turn when we had the Right of Way so we hit. It wasn't that bad though. The taxi lost one of it's tire rims and got a dent while the other car got a big ol' dent in the bumper. The bumper came loose too. Shino: Yeah, I'm gonna whine about stuff so they won't bother me. Does that happen to you? When you want to tell someone something, but you keep forgetting to, but when you DO remember it, it bugs the hell out of you cuz the person you want to tell isn't there? And it'd be too weird to just call them out to JUST tell them that. Yyyyyup...... Did you follow that?

One thing that's been bugging me: the look of this blog. I picked this background style because it was a dark color and the top title thing looked cool. BUT! I don't like that links bar on the right side, I'd rather have 'em on the left. But that doesn't bother me that much now. The colors are boring to. We have only black and white! I wish we could somehow just add like a blue or green somewhere... Like on e1n's blogspot, he's got black, white, AND orange. How DOES he do it? It wasn't one of the 10 backgrounds you could choose from I don't think... And I hope people don't think we're being cliche by using the black cuz we're emo/goth or somethin'. I don't think we are. We're more like nerds. Cool nerds (Yes, they exist. Shocking, no?). But the #1 thing that our blog pisses me off with is all that extra space on the left and right! WHY is it there!? It squishes all the writing into that little column in the middle! Our blog entries wouldn't look so long if they were stretched to the side more! (I bet there's some way to change this in the "Template" section, but I don't know much URL stuff. I suck.)

Phew! Glad I got that over with! I think I had like 2 more things to bitch about, but I forgot what they were while typing the first one.

Remember that tablet I got for my birthday? Well, we returned it. Why? I realized that I draw more/better on paper, and if I ever DO draw something on the computer, my mouse if OK for that. I just hope I won't regret it later on. If I do, I guess I could buy one myself. Dang...I kinda wanted to try having a doodle war/chat though. I've never done one before. Think I can still do it with a mouse?

Levi: Today, I got my THIRD AAA! The status of Shino: 0. Hopes of survival? Some.

The comments said that our "information" is usefull. What info? When did we start giving hints to life? All you guys see so far is what the crap Levi ate for dinner in Italy, and/or his ugly handwriting! I mean, I really feel sorry for you people who aren't used to reading his crappy handwriting. I mean, it IS pretty bad, huh.

Levi: Today, this faithful August day, the day of many clouds outside of my window, the day of truth and justice, the day my mom finally decided to buy me some apple sauce, the day... well anyway, today is the day of much celebrating that didn't happen. Today, I, Levi, the brother of the dance master Shino, has finally gotten a triple A on the game DDR EXTREME2. This is the first time anyone in the house hold has gotten one. I am quite proud because my sister is much better at the game than me, yet I was the first to get the triple A! No one really cared, but I got to celebrate with apple sauce that my mom had just bought at least 30 mins before.
