Levi in Italy, Day 18

June 25, 2006-

One more day to go young man...or woman. Homan? Super extreme Matrix slo-mo sexiness! Noo. Aaanyways, after waking up, my dad and I went out to look for breakfast. Since it was a Sunday, nothing was open. We came back home just in time to see Marco and his girlfriend coming up. They took us to a kebab shop. We waited for about a half hour to get out kebob but it was well worth it. It was kinda like a meat sandwhich but it was supposed to be more like a taco. Either way, it was still good. We went to go buy some chocolate after that. It is some knee-slapping good chocolate! We are going to give it to my mom. It has a tint of peanut butter to it's flavor. We drove to the train station to see and get out ticket to Nice (the France city at the beginning). While Papa and friends did that, I played on the computer there. The joy. We went our to a restaurant Marco wanted to go to (because it was our last day). We went to this little restaurant somewhere down town. My food tasted fine, but Papa got this mustard wasssabi steak! And he said he liked it! I got a delicious desert that was like a choco taco with cheese in the center. Magnifico! We went home and packed our stuff. WOOHOOOOO!!!

Levi in Italy, Day 17

Shino: So I started typing this on like Tuesday, but the internet kept quitting on me whenever I tried to upload a picture. Weird, huh?

I started college on Wednesday. It sucked cuz I have all my classes on Wednesdays. Except I didn't have to go to my last class, which was a 3 hr. long lab. Then on Thursday, I only had one class, so I spent an hour going up there AND an hour coming back, and I didn't have the class that day too! RAAAAAUUURGH!!! I wasted almost 3 hours!!! Oh yeah, BTW, I go to the University of Utah and take the trax up cuz it's free for students. Find me if you can! Then yesterday (Friday) I had an hour till my next class but I ended up helping this old lady who was a Spanish tutor. I helped her w/ some English grammar stuff and showed her on a map where she had to go. I think she thought that I was Spanish or somethin' cuz I have dark hair. Anyways, only 2 more journal entries left!

June 24, 2006-

Today Marco and Fratica (yaay) came and took us up to the mountains. It was really misty and green up there. We were (are) going to go see an old castley-fort up there. There was a loud barking dog up there (who was quite nice actually). We got out tickets and got a tour of the castle. I found out that it was used for many battles. The French built it first, but then after lots of battles the Italians got it. It was in an extremely strategic spot so it was used in too many battles. It was also used as a prison and army camp in World War I and II. The castle was on a really steep mountain so you couldn't just climb up it if you were invading. It had many cannons aligned around it too. After about 2 hours of that, we grabbed some hams and cheeses and bread and went over to Marco's "other" home. It was really close to the castle. It was a beautiful spot with a nice little garden (which Italians do not have!). We sat down and ate an extremely DELICIOUS meal. It was superb! It was ham stuff with bread sticks with a bit of cheese (you made it yourself). Please excuse my handwriting because I am again writing on a cat. After eating, we took a nap (duration is unknown) and then went back to the city. We waited for stuff for a few hours, and I checked my grades on the computer. I have straight A's! (With a few B's; 3.) After that we went out to do...stuff. I got really bored and depressed (for some reason) so my dad (plus Marco and Fratica) took me home on a taxi. While going I listened to some cool tunes. What kinda sucked though was that we got in a wreck. Some car was pulling a U-turn when we had the Right of Way so we hit. It wasn't that bad though. The taxi lost one of it's tire rims and got a dent while the other car got a big ol' dent in the bumper. The bumper came loose too. It was a good thing I came with my dad and those guys because it was a long way home. We walked for about 15 minutes then I went to sleep. My dad went back out.

Start Your Bitchin'

Shino: Yeah, I'm gonna whine about stuff so they won't bother me. Does that happen to you? When you want to tell someone something, but you keep forgetting to, but when you DO remember it, it bugs the hell out of you cuz the person you want to tell isn't there? And it'd be too weird to just call them out to JUST tell them that. Yyyyyup...... Did you follow that?

One thing that's been bugging me: the look of this blog. I picked this background style because it was a dark color and the top title thing looked cool. BUT! I don't like that links bar on the right side, I'd rather have 'em on the left. But that doesn't bother me that much now. The colors are boring to. We have only black and white! I wish we could somehow just add like a blue or green somewhere... Like on e1n's blogspot, he's got black, white, AND orange. How DOES he do it? It wasn't one of the 10 backgrounds you could choose from I don't think... And I hope people don't think we're being cliche by using the black cuz we're emo/goth or somethin'. I don't think we are. We're more like nerds. Cool nerds (Yes, they exist. Shocking, no?). But the #1 thing that our blog pisses me off with is all that extra space on the left and right! WHY is it there!? It squishes all the writing into that little column in the middle! Our blog entries wouldn't look so long if they were stretched to the side more! (I bet there's some way to change this in the "Template" section, but I don't know much URL stuff. I suck.)

Phew! Glad I got that over with! I think I had like 2 more things to bitch about, but I forgot what they were while typing the first one.

Remember that tablet I got for my birthday? Well, we returned it. Why? I realized that I draw more/better on paper, and if I ever DO draw something on the computer, my mouse if OK for that. I just hope I won't regret it later on. If I do, I guess I could buy one myself. Dang...I kinda wanted to try having a doodle war/chat though. I've never done one before. Think I can still do it with a mouse?

Where the hell is Matt?

Levi: Today, I got my THIRD AAA! The status of Shino: 0. Hopes of survival? Some.

Shino: Grrr...I always get a few GREAT's on my songs, OK!? IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!! Waaaaaaah! *goes running in to a closet*

Any hoot, here's a really cool video:
  • Where the hell is Matt?

  • A dude named Matt goes around the world, doin' that little silly dance of his. The places he goes to are really cool. Levi's been to Italy! Why didn't YOU dance like that, huh!?

    Levi: ......

Shino: Levi refuses to reply. Anyways, WE GOT SOME FREAKIN' COMMENTS!!! XD

Levi: You can give that face a butt-chin like this!: XD3

Shino: Ewww...That just looks sick. Thanks to the people who left a comment. Wish you guys had a name other than "Anonymous." (I don't think I even spelled that right. Oh well.) The comments said that our "information" is usefull. What info? When did we start giving hints to life? All you guys see so far is what the crap Levi ate for dinner in Italy, and/or his ugly handwriting! I mean, I really feel sorry for you people who aren't used to reading his crappy handwriting. I mean, it IS pretty bad, huh.

Levi: Well, at least the art is equivalent to Lenoardo Duh Venchi's. Bye people!

P.S. - To help celebrate the AAA's, send me/Levi/Sexy dancing man apple sauce!

Shino: Please don't. You don't know where we live anyways, so nya! >:P Also, Levi misspelled Leonardo on purpose. Please don't send bombs to our house either. And now, I have a short question: Why do people type "XDDDDDD" when their really happy, other than JUST a "XD"? I mean, w/ all those extra D's, that guy has like 10 mouths! That just looks wrong now!
    THE END

The AAA has found it's home...

Levi: Today, this faithful August day, the day of many clouds outside of my window, the day of truth and justice, the day my mom finally decided to buy me some apple sauce, the day... well anyway, today is the day of much celebrating that didn't happen. Today, I, Levi, the brother of the dance master Shino, has finally gotten a triple A on the game DDR EXTREME2. This is the first time anyone in the house hold has gotten one. I am quite proud because my sister is much better at the game than me, yet I was the first to get the triple A! No one really cared, but I got to celebrate with apple sauce that my mom had just bought at least 30 mins before.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!!

Shino: It's my birthday today! Woohoo! But my family actually kind of celebrated it yesterday. We went to eat dinner at Red Lobster (cuz I LOVE the freakin' biscuits there) then bought a little cake at Target, and opened presents at home. I got a little calendar and notebook from my mom, a tablet from Levi (who only paid for part of it), and a DDR EXTREME2 AND another dance pad from my dad! w00t!1! Yes, I actually had one, but it's got a little rip in it, and it's funner to dance w/ 2 people. I also have DDRMAX and DDR Konamix. But THIS DDR has Butterfly, Boom Boom Dollar, and Captain Jack! I gotta say my favorite DDR is DDR 3rd MIX. It's the first DDR I've played, and I have it's CD. My friend got EXTREME2 too a while ago and I found out it had those songs on it, so I "hinted" that I wanted it for my upcoming birthday. Dreams DO come true!

Levi had his birthday party w/ his friends like 2 weeks ago, and my dad got him a second present, Guitar Hero!!! So here's a picture of me dressed up all punk rock. I wanted Levi to dress up too, but he was too whiney and said he didn't wanna. Baby. Ooh! My grandparents in Japan just called saying "Happy Birthday" to me too. I got like 4 text messages on my cell from my friends saying "Happy Birthday". I feel so loved! My dad also spent like $1,000 to fix my car. I rear ended someone like in October and the bumper was all messed up, but we just FINALLY fixed it. Also like an inspection, oil change and new tires. Thank you Fajha!

Wanna hear a story? See that little hair clip with the 3 red stars? Well, I wore it a few months ago during school, then went to visit my friend Marci. We were just hangin' out in my car and she says, "That's a punk rock hair clip."
    Me: Yay! I'm punk rock!
Marci: No. YOU'RE not punk rock. Only your hair clip is.
Me: Awww. I'm not punk rock.
Marci: Yes Shino. You are NOT punk rock. Shino is not punk rock.
Then she goes and writes w/ her finger on my window a "Punk Rock" in a circle w/ a slash through it. You know, like one of those "No Smoking" signs. You can still see her finger prints of "Not Punk Rock" on my window. So now w/ her and some other friends I told this story about, we joke that I'm not punk rock. Shino's not punk rock. :'( Boo hoo. So even if I look punk rock in that picture, they'll say that I'm not punk rock. Hee hee. I think that's so funny. XD

    Levi in Italy, Day 16

    June 23, 2006-

We all too quickly rode the bus to the real park where there were supposed to be real castles and old tiny villages. We looked around for a few hours and nothing. Nooo. Ready to give up, we wandered just a bit more and, Ta-da, there's the village. We saw cool walls that were all around the village and went inside. The place was awesome! There was a small store right by the entrance that sold all kinds of swords, guns, figurines, and other D&D nerd stuff. Sadly, the guns were only antiques. When we entered the shop, we suspected that the prices would be outrageous (like the Renaissance Festival), but the prices were at least half the price in America! We bought a copper dolphin figurine for my sister, an antique musket pistol, 5 little halberds with a stand, and nothing else. All of that cost us £50. That's not too bad. We left the shop and went back home (after a bit more sight seeing). We took a nap and then went to a Japanese restaurant right across the street. We went with Marco and Fratica (Marco's girlfriend's name!) and some other lady who has hung out with us for quite some time. The food, I would say, was very interesting. It was kinda Japanesesish, yet Filipinos were cooking it, and it was adjusted to Italian liking. For example, I ordered udon (which is supposed to be like ramen) and when it came it looked like yaki soba or spaghetti. At least I got some good sushi. We went to go see stuff (hooray stuff!) after eating, and rode in a tiny car (that the unknown lady owned) that was called a Panda. It was a FIAT. My dad says that it is an acronym for Fix It Again Tony. Supposedly they break down a lot. Anyways, this car was a lot smaller (and older) than most cars. Also, it had like a status bar on the dashboard. It was the shape of the car and was green. I swear, it looked like the health of the car like in a video game! Once we got out of the silly car, we walked around the city and we found a HUGE fire that was for some sort of Torinoian (?) celebration of the bull. Toro=Bull. The fire was for burning a wooden bull that would be used as fuel. When the wooden bull began to fall, different stuff happen. If it falls to the North, good luck will come for Torino. If it falls to the South, bad luck would come. Luckily (I so funny...) it fell to the North. We wandered a bit more, I ate an ice cream (like every other day) and we went home. Sleeeeep.

    Levi in Italy, Day 15

    June 22, 2006-

Woke up, showered, got clawed by the cat, and then went to the same corner bar. We went to the park place (where the King's Palace was) and saw the Medieval Arms Museum. It was probably the best museum yet. It had a large assortment of sabers, long swords, armors, maces, axes, and other crap. We snuck a few photos (when we weren't allowed to) and went back to the park. We waited for MGF so we could go eat lunch. She was also going to show us around the city. We killed time by watching pigeons get soaked in the fountain. They look so silly! When MGF came, we ate at a pizza restaurant the she recommended. Please note that I am again writing of top of a cat. We wandered for more than 4 hours then went to the station. We used the internet for a half hour and went home. While going home, we saw a huge crowd of soccer fans watching the game on a HUGE screen. Once home, we slept a bit and then MGF came to take us to the concert Marco was playing in (mentioned before). It was at a pretty big ice cream shot out on the countryside. There was another band. While Marco and friends were playing, I played on a swing set. It was a fun swing set. Oh, also, the other guitar guy in our band was wearing some awesome core sunglasses from the '70's. After hours of playing, we went home. Yay.
