It's about time!!

Shino: DUDE!!! I've been wanting to update like 2 weeks ago, but crap kept coming up! Like our computers wouldn't work sometimes, I couldn't find the wire that would let me put camera pics onto the computer, Papa came back from Thailand, etc... So here's the 2 pics I've been wanting to post up! I drew him on the back of a sandwich order form from work (I make sandwiches in a movie theater. There's other food places too like pizza) cuz I was bored and had lots of free time. Too bad the picture I took is so blurry and dark... *grumble grumble*

THEN I was bored in my Physics class last Monday (so the last picture was from last Sunday) so I drew him again, but this time he's holding a bat, if you can't tell. (^_^;) I also gave him a name! It's SHIVA! He's so freakin' cool and I'm so proud of myself for drawing him! I SWEAR that I will draw a really good version of him someday! SWEAR IT!!!

But now I'm kinda sad too cuz I doodle a lot at work, but they're usually crap so I throw them away. But this one time I drew this cool Indian lookin' guy in the Shaman King style, but I think I threw it away. Boohoo! He looked so cool too!

So my dad's back from Thailand. He got his diving permit too! He left like the day after Christmas and was there for like a month. He went to a friends wedding, then just played the rest of the time. No fair!

OOOOH! Funny story! There's this commercial on Discovery Channel for a show called 2057, what they think 2057 will be like, and it starts out saying, "What if cars didn't need the ground?" and they show some cool lookin' flyin' cars, and the first time I see this commercial, I yell out, "IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!" XD But I don't think cars'll fly still for a LOOOOONG time. Well, time for dinner. Ciao.

Nightmares and Fairytales is a story from Slave Labor Graphics, where Johnny The Homicidal Maniac and other stories by Jhonen Vasquez is from. But I've read the first few "books" of N&F and own a random #7 of it, and it's really cool/cute/creepy. (WOAH! Triple C's!) I couldn't believe it came out in Japan. I'm so proud of everybody! *sniff*

I also watched the Prince of Tennis live action movie. It went by really fast (though I've only read the first few books), and some of the shots are just hilarious! (sp?)

Remember I also linked to the Death Note live action movie last time? Apparently that's only the first part of the movie, so there's a part 2! It's called something like "Death Note -The Last Name-". Here's the trailor!:

Skullcandy

Shino: So I bought Levi for Christmas these $25 Skullcandy headphones. I bought one for his last Birthday and last Christmas too, but they both broke. I'm still so pissed at that! Anyways, the warranty card says this:

I freakin' LOL'd at this. Levi did too. These guys rock! And they also give you 5 stickers with the Skullcandy logo, and supposedly if you send them a picture of the sticker in a really cool place, they'll give you free stuff. But I'm too lazy to do that.

School's starting on Monday. Just one word: Fuck. I'm gonna go buy the books today with a friend. I still have 3 books from last semester that I need to get rid of, but I think I can only sell one of 'em cuz they're not gonna use the other 2 any more. This sucks! WHY is college so hellbent on stealing money from already poor college students!!?

What's funny is I finally looked at my grades today, and you know I kept saying I was gonna fail math? Well I got a C+. Now that's not great, but it's waaaaay better than what I thought I'd get. And for my chemistry class, which I get because it's just like High School chemistry, I got a C-. WTF!!!!!?? I must of done reeeaaaally bad on the tests, cuz I swear I understand almost everything in that class! Oh well, I'll just take the next chemistry class anyways, but I WILL re-take that math class just cuz I have no freakin' idea what I'm doin'.

Death Note and the Prince of Tennis

Shino: WE GOT ANOTHER IMAC!!! XD Cuz it was like a buy-one-get-the-second-$200-off deal. AND each one comes with a free printer. But we're using the 2nd one as a TV in the kitchen. I got the old little TV that used to be there, and I love it 'n all, but the recording doesn't work! :'( I'll one day just sell it for one that works.

Lesee...what else did we get for Christmas... I got a stuffed animal, a pillow, a pillow seat and a sweater. Levi got 2 air soft guns, headphones, slippers, Guitar Hero II and a watch. I bet we got some other small stuff but I forgot. I bought for the family the game Catchphrase and it is so freakin' fun!

The Prince of Tennis came out on Toonami last Saturday (along with MAR), so I recorded it. My mom, who loves tennis, thought it was hilarious so she's gonna show it to her tennis buddies. She said she might start watching it in Japanese on YouTube or somethin' though. BUT. While she was lookin' around on YouTube, she found THIS:

That ending where you just see a glimpse of that Grim Reaper was cool! Yes, I forgot his name and no I am NOT calling them "shinigami's" cuz that's what they translate to. Kinda like how they're called Soul Reaper's in BLEACH. I'm Half-Jap so don't you people try to correct MY Japanese.

Funny story! My dad went to try and buy me "We ♥ Katamari" for the PS2, and asked at this one game shop. The kid who worked there was some kind of teenager gaming geek, and was trying to "correct" my dad's way of saying Katamari. The kid was pronouncing it like it was Kalimari, and my dad was saying it the right, Japanese way. Americans can be so funny sometimes.
