Levi: So! Lorien and I went to the Sandy fair thingy. We met up with Jessika, and found out that all of the people she invited did not come, except for her sister and cousin (I think?). Jessika wanted to go to the mall, so to the mall we went. Little did I know that girls are VERY undecisive when it comes to shopping. We took 2 hours inside about three stores, and I was bored out of my mind in the first two stores.
We ate lunch at the food court and then came back to the fair thing and walked around. I got really sleepy, so Lorien let me take a nap on her lap (OMG! That rhymed!)
After I woke up, we found out that Jessika had left without us and went to a friend's house. We called Jillian (Lorien's sister) to pick us up, and Jill told us to meet at "the" stop sign. We decided to go to the busiest stop sign, and we sat for about thirty minutes.
We decided that Jillian was not going to find us, so we went to Target (which is located fairly closely to the mall). We used their pay phone to call my mom, and my mom took us the the West Jordan pool, which is where Lorien's family was meeting to watch the fireworks.
We arrived at the pool, and there was some huge rodeo thing going on in this stadium near by. MUCH cheering and crap going on. We sat around for about an hour, played frisbee, and rolled around on the blanket thingy that we were sitting on. Lorien and I talked about old cartoons like "Ed, Edd and Eddy", "Courage the Cowardly Dog" and "Dexter's Lab". We miss those shows very much. We also talked about how stupid all the new cartoons are. Grr.
We watched the fireworks for about a half hour, and they were reeeeaaally cool. Fun stuff! After the fireworks, we got into Lorien's family's car, and we were ready to beat the rush of cars, but Craig was missing (Craig be Lorien's little brother). We looked around for him, and found out that he went home with Jillian! So, we had to sit around for 45 minutes to wait for the cars to clear up. Everyone went to sleep during that period. When we got to Lorien's house, Lorien's dad took me home and then I went to sleep.
Yay! Well, my 4th of July was pretty uneventful at first, but the end of it was pretty fun. I just realized that there was a lot of waiting involved in my day. Interesting.
